Teaching Philosophy
I believe that learning how to sing is a life-long journey. I have my MFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory and have studied voice and performed professionally for 10 years. Passionate about the unique tones and nuances of each individual's voice I specialize in musical theatre belt and legit styles, as well as pop vocal technique. As we explore healthy ways to expand the voice together, I offer a wide-range of repertoire recommendations.
I work with students of all genders, ages 13 and up. Most lessons are virtual, with the option of in-person lessons for NYC- and Boston-based students. Lessons are 60 minutes long (though I am willing to adjust the time window based on individual needs and circumstances). I continue to study voice myself and am thrilled to help students feel the exhilarating experience of nailing a song with sound, healthy vocal technique.
